Owners experience with our services:
GINGER & OTIS
A few years ago, my boy, Otis, a Golden Retriever, partially tore the ACL in his left rear leg. My vet prescribed laser therapy to help keep the ligament from completely tearing. Because Otis, and his Sister, Ginger, were getting up in years, it was becoming difficult to get them in and out of a vehicle. Plus, Otis was not a fan of going to the Vet, which created anxiety for him. Therefore, I decided to search for a mobile vet who could provide laser therapy in the comfort of our own home.
A close friend of mine referred me to Dr. Andrea McRae, and I am so grateful she did. My initial conversation with Dr. McRae proved she is passionate and committed to improving the wellness of our four-legged family members. Her first
visit included a thorough examine of Otis and his mobility. Dr. McRae not only prescribed laser therapy, she also prescribed massage therapy, stretching and other exercises to enhance the support of the partially torn ACL and other joints where arthritis was appearing. Because her guidance and advice worked so well on Otis, we asked her to start caring for Ginger, too.
During the past few years, both Otis and Ginger developed other health issues, as older dogs do. Dr. McRae adapted her visits to include these issues and provide great relief and increased quality of life so my kids could live longer than
we could have anticipated. Ginger and Otis always looked forward to her visits and greeted her with excitement and enthusiasm because of her compassion and genuine love for them.
My respect, appreciation and gratefulness for Dr. McRae can’t be described with just words. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for outstanding care and compassion for their four-legged family member.
"Andrea is very knowledgeable and genuinely care about Daisy. They showed us numerous exercises and how to incorporate them into our daily routine. Along the way we learned a ton about how to better care for our dog and what options might be available to us along the way as she lives with this condition (hip dysplasia) for the rest of her life."
"We truly have a team working with us on behalf of Daisy’s long term quality of life.”
"We have seen remarkable improvement in Sambo’s ability to walk. He no longer carries his leg, loves his laser treatments )and Dr. McRae), and if we let him would likely be running and jumping again already!”
"We love the home treatments as they are stress free."
"Dr. McRae listens carefully to my concerns, monitors Sambo’s progress. She and Liz are highly professional and offer compassionate medical care.”
"I can’t express enough how much we appreciate the services of Animal Rehabilitation & Wellness. Dr. McRae expresses empathy for both our dog and us in dealing with what initially seemed to be an overwhelming issue. Our anxiety over our dog’s prognosis has been alleviated and most importantly Sambo is showing continued improvement and really loves his time with Dr. McRae.”
"Very knowledgeable on the injury and recovery timeframe. Dr. McRae was always able to answer questions quickly and modify exercises to use what we already had around the house."
"We cannot speak enough to the excellent care and amazing results we received from Animal Rehabilitation & Wellness. We have our dog back!"

" We have been satisfied with every step of the process. We’re just thankful that our dog is back on full throttle again!"
"100% satisfied, in fact my expectations about the service far surpassed what I imagined. Andrea was so friendly and explained things is such simple terms, she was understanding of my busy lifestyle and was able to help me craft a plan that was manageable for me and my dog."
" Initial response to my phone call was very prompt (within 24 hours), flexible in scheduling an appointment that fit my schedule, was very kind and organized with the information given to me. Seeing the video on facebook of the dog 4 days after his FCE and then again a month later really encouraged me that my dog could do that well with rehab. So happy with how it all turned out!"
"Our 13 year old dog Lucy has spinal arthritis and some other health problems that have been affecting her mobility and
attitude. We had been seeing a chiropractor/holistic vet for a while, with some success, but she was continuing to lose muscle tone and control in her hind legs and it seemed to be affecting her skeletal structure as well as her attitude. I had considered rehab for her, but had not found/made time to follow up. When our holistic vet gave me the
referral for Andrea and said she made house calls, it made it easy! "
"Extremely pleased with the care. Andrea is thoughtful and careful, did a thorough assessment, and
discussed a number of potential options with us. We ultimately agreed to what seemed to both of us to be a reasonable plan, and we have been so pleased with the results. Lucy is getting around much better, has actually regained strength and control in her hind legs (we had primarily sought to just slow the deterioration, so gaining strength is more than we had hoped for). She feels better, and actually on occasion invites our younger dog to play!"
"Thank you for all of your encouragement, care and support. My husband, Toby and I appreciate all the rehab you have provided in order to move Toby forward through the healing process, all while maintaining his quality of life."
"Thank you for all of your care and concern for Georgia. It's appreciated! You've given her a great start on her recovery and also her life with us."
"Thank you so much for your caring skill to help Jenna stay active! Thank you for coming to see me with that funny machine to keep me chasing my ball!"
"Thank you for helping to keep Kendra so healthy and active."
"We want you to know how very thankful we are for you and your loving care of Katie. Katie is doing great and limp free!"
"We are so very appreciative of the care and comfort you gave to Xander and us during his last final months. He enjoyed your visits and your amazing care allowed him to be more comfortable and alleviate some of his pain and discomfort. For that we can't begin to thank you enough!"
